Places to Street Perform Around The World Rex Boyd I make no promises about any of these suggestions. My experience is that most situations tend to change about permits and quality of pitches from one year to the next. I have played in most of these places. Some of them I have heard about and hope to try myself sometime. Others are places I have just seen on my travels and thought they might be worth a try. This list below is by no means complete. Yes, there are lots more regularly worked pitches that I have not included. The following locations marked with an asterisk (*) are regularly worked, each with their own set of rules. You will likely meet other performers at these pitches. Remember: You will get a lot further by being polite and helpful towards the regulars when you are the new guy on the pitch than you will by thinking that you are going to take over. Also remember: You may not be welcome as a street performer by certain immigration officials. Always try to be very low key when entering a country if you don't have a work permit.
